Capo and the Spritz closes after employee tests positive for coronavirus

Sep 24 2020, 11:32 am

Capo and the Spritz has temporarily closed because one of its employees has tested positive for COVID-19, the restaurant announced.

The new Yaletown eatery just opened its doors for the first time on Monday but announced Thursday morning that it had made the decision to voluntarily shutter until further notice.

The restaurant said the infected employee last worked on September 21 but spent time with three other staff members in their personal time.

Capo and the Spritz is currently waiting for the results for those individuals’ tests.

No reopening date has been set yet.
