Capital Cities to headline Sunset Festival at SeaWheeze Half Marathon

Lululemon Athletica inc. today announced Capital Cities (www.capitalcitiesmusic.com) will headline this year’s Sunset Festival following the sold-out SeaWheeze Half Marathon (www.seawheeze.com) on Saturday, August 23, 2014.

Tickets sales for the annual music and yoga festival, taking place at Brockton Oval in Stanley Park, go on sale for the general public at 10:00am PST on Friday May 9th, 2014 and are $25.00 CAD, taxes included. Ticket sales for runners are included in registration fees.  Past musical performers include Fun, Hey Ocean!, Xavier Rudd and Passenger.

In addition to rocking out with Capital Cities and opening act The Colourist (www.thecolouristmusic.com), festival-goers can take part in a stellar sunset practice with renowned yoga instructor Eoin Finn (www.blissology.com). There will be some serious refueling options with a licensed patio and gourmet take-out menu.  Complimentary shuttles will be running throughout the evening between Brockton Oval and Downtown Vancouver and there will be an onsite bike valet for cyclists.

SeaWheeze weekend also includes the official SeaWheeze Showcase Store, where runners can kit themselves out pre-race with limited edition clothing and accessories, along with the sold-out SeaWheeze half marathon itself, which runs along Vancouver’s iconic waterfront.
