Here's how you can score an eight-month internship with the Canucks
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to work in the professional sports industry, here’s how you can land a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity working with the Vancouver Canucks.
Canucks Sports & Entertainment is launching a newly refreshed Top Prospects Internship Program, designed for students in their final year of studies or those who are recent University graduates.
The internship will take place over eight months, beginning with training camp (orientation) in the final week of August, and concluding in April at the end of the regular NHL season.
Participants will gain an immersive behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to work in the professional sports industry, as well as experience the amazing and unique Canucks culture and perks.
(We’re talking social and recreational events, behind-the-scenes exposure to sports operations, and yes, access to hockey, lacrosse, and concert tickets!)
Prove yourself, and there may be potential for future full-time job opportunities!
You will also have the opportunity to engage in a mentoring relationship with a CSE leader, who will help foster, support and coach you, sharing their knowledge and guiding you through your internship.
Top Prospects interns will be valued team members, contribute to the operations and will be a part of the excitement as the Canucks work towards a playoff run and who knows, maybe even the Stanley Cup next season!
