This post season I’ll be counting down the wins needed for the Canucks to hoist their first Stanley Cup in franchise history. With Wednesday’s victory that leaves us with 15 more to go.
Game one on Wednesday night was simply amazing. The Garage was electric and you could feel the energy throughout the Lower Mainland. Game 2 tonight will be no different, in fact I expect it to be even more raucous as more and more people pile on to the bandwagon.Going back to game one, sure it wasn’t perfect, I wouldn’t expect that to be the case anyways, after all the playoffs are a different beast. However, at no point in the third period did I feel the Canucks were going to blow the lead, which is rare for most Canuck fans. Further, I don’t expect the Blues to just simply roll over and succumb to the Canucks awesomeness in this series either. At the end of the day it will come down to special teams. If the Canucks and *ahem* Mats Sundin could get going on the powerplay, lookout.
I’ll be tuned into Team 1040 all day at the office as I wear my Canucks Jersey with pride.
Go Canucks Go!
