With last night’s Edmonton Oilers win over the Los Angeles Kings, the Vancouver Canucks advanced beyond the regular season and earned a mathematical lock on a Stanley Cup Playoffs berth.

This morning, the Vancouver Canucks announced that single game tickets for Round 1 of the playoffs will go on sale at 10 a.m. this Friday, April 10.

As usual, tickets will be made available online through Ticketmaster, with most prices ranging between $85 to $177 per game. Any single game tickets purchased through Ticketmaster that are not played in the first round will be automatically refunded to customers.

“It’s a great time to be a Canucks fan,” said Vancouver Canucks Chief Operating Officer Victor de Bonis in a statement. “It’s been a season of renewed excitement, and the support from our fans has been tremendous.”

“It’s been a big year of positive change but we also recognize we still have some work to do. So in the spirit of change, we’ve reset our Round 1 pricing to ensure as many new and long-time fans as possible can join us for every playoff moment here at Rogers Arena.”

The Canucks could know their first round opponent as early as Thursday night. Should the Calgary Flames defeat the Los Angeles Kings tomorrow, the Canucks will embark on a possible seven-game journey to sniff out the Calgary Flames.

The full NHL playoff season schedule will be released this weekend.
