
Have you ever dreamed of working for the Vancouver Canucks?
If so, now may be your lucky time. The club has published a very cool-looking job, in addition to several other open positions posted.
The newest job opening is for the team’s director of social media and content. The person will be responsible for leading the “development, production, and publishing of digital and social content across Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE) brands; driving innovation, deepening fan engagement, and setting a new standard for sports storytelling.”
The Canucks have a large social media following with 1.1 million followers on X and 760,000 followers on Instagram. This hire would be responsible for choosing the direction of what gets posted across those channels.
The team is ideally looking for someone with a degree in “marketing, communications, or digital media, or similar.” In addition, they’re hoping to find someone with at least eight years of work experience in a role related to this one.
There is no salary range posted for this job.

Beyond the head office positions, there are also four open jobs available at Rogers Arena for event staff. These include being a host, security, tour operator, or building operator. Some of these roles have salaries posted, and they range from $17.82 to $22.08 per hour.
