Think you’d do a bang-up job of hyping up 18,000+ Vancouver Canucks fans at Rogers Arena?

If so, now’s your chance.

The Canucks have added over 25 new jobs to their website over the past month, with most of the gigs related to the game-night experience.

However, the most interesting of the jobs are related to hyping up the crowd in-game.

There’s a position available for a hype team lead, with the role relating to “providing support to hype team staff” and “assisting in the training, motivation and development of all hype team staff.”

Another job has been posted for a hype team member, with one of the job requirements being that the candidate “must be able to work 30-35 Canucks games.”

Other parts of the job description say that the candidate could be “participating in live skits, acting as a crowd plant.” It also states that acting experience would be considered an asset, with candidates being encouraged to submit demos to show off their skills.

There’s also an opening for an ice team lead, which involves coordinating with the ice maintenance crew and helping with ice shovelling during TV timeouts.

Outside of skating on the ice with NHL players and hyping up the crowd, there’s a plethora of other jobs available too. The openings include jobs for cooks, servers, bartenders, parking attendants, ticket centre representatives, housekeepers, and security.
