Canucks fans start J.T. Miller chant at WWE Vancouver event

The Vancouver Canucks may not have been playing at Rogers Arena on Saturday night, but fans of the team made sure to maintain the same atmosphere.

Rather, the WWE Survivor Series was taking over the arena, which featured some of the sport’s biggest stars, including Roman Reigns and CM Punk. It was a widely anticipated event for Vancouver, and even though the Canucks were on the road, fans of the hockey team were eager to show their support.

With star forward J.T. Miller out on personal leave, Canucks fans chanted his name throughout Rogers Arena.

This is nothing new for the Canucks faithful, who have made it a habit to chant player names throughout the arena. This is far from the first time that Miller has had his name ring through Roger Arena, as he has quickly become a fan favourite among the Vancouver faithful since the Canucks traded for him back in 2019.

The fanbase is concerned about Miller’s well-being after he abruptly left the team in mid-November for undisclosed personal reasons.

Fans on social media were happy to see the show of support for one of their star players.

It’s not clear what prompted fans to start the chant, but when you are in a city as passionate about their hockey team as Vancouver, do you need a reason to start a Canucks chant at a WWE event?
