The Vancouver Canucks will return to Shawnigan Lake School on Vancouver Island once again this year for prospects development camp. The camp, which takes place from July 4-7, will feature some of Vancouver’s brightest prospects, including players chosen at next week’s NHL Draft.

This year’s camp roster will likely be released in a couple of weeks. Last year, the camp featured names like Jake Virtanen, Jared McCann, Brock Boeser, Ben Hutton, Jordan Subban, Cole Cassels, and Thatcher Demko (although Demko didn’t participate in on-ice drills because he was recovering from an injury).

Expect Boeser and Demko (this time on-ice) to be back, along with the fifth overall pick from this year’s draft.

Prospects will participate in a number of training sessions, including some on-ice practices that are open to the public.
