To celebrate 40 years of Vancouver Canuck hockey, the city of Vancouver has announced that Oct 4, 2010 will be Canucks Day in Vancouver. This kicks off what many are calling Canucks week in Vancouver as the countdown to the regular season begins. Look out for our season preview and a special hump day hotties edition.
Come out to Vancouver City Hall on Monday, October 4 at 12 noon and show support for the Vancouver Canucks’ 40th anniversary celebration. Join Mayor Robertson and Council, Canucks Sports & Entertainment owner Francesco Aquilini, President and General Manager Mike Gillis and Chief Operating Officer Victor de Bonis as well as Canucks mascot Fin. See the Canucks flag being raised at City Hall as Mayor Roberson proclaims it Canucks Day.
