Many Canucks fans will finally get their wish, David Booth is finally on his way out the door.
TSN’s Bob McKenzie made the big reveal on Twitter earlier this morning:
VAN puts David Booth on unconditional waivers for purpose of buyout.

The NHL buyout window opened yesterday and teams have until June 30 to make buyouts. After buying out Keith Ballard last year, the Vancouver Canucks have one compliance buyout left.
A compliance buyout does not count against a team’s salary cap, a regular buyout does. After this season, teams will no longer be able to use compliance buyouts.
