Earlier this week the Canucks donated Roberto Luongo’s Heritage Classic goalie pads to the Canucks for Kids Fund. Luongo was quick to joke about what a great deal these pads would be due to the fact they were barely used. I assume John Tortorella paused momentarily from counting all of the money he is getting for not coaching the Canucks to laugh at this as well.
That got us thinking about what other types of items hockey players could donate that would have little to no wear on them. Roberto can’t be the only one with some almost like brand new items in his basement that could use a new home, right?
