Canucks Anthem Singer Trips/Falls While Skating/Singing (VIDEO)

What is it about anthem singers screwing up that we love so much?

Admit it, we take great joy when an anthem singer screws up the words, trips and falls or is simply terrible. But we have never seen anything quite like this.

The always innovative Canucks anthem singer, Mark Donnelly, was in Penticton singing the national anthem before a BCHL game on Friday night. Donnelly, who started the “you sing this verse” tradition at Canucks games, decided to spice things up for the good people of Penticton.

The slimmed down tuxedo’d opera singer strapped on his skates and glided around the ice while singing O Canada. The result was hilarious.

To his credit, he didn’t stop singing! The show must go on (this video shows the entire anthem).
