The ultimate adventure race in Vancouver has almost arrived.
On Sunday, September 16, the Canuck Place Adventure Race will take place at Jericho Beach East, offering an athletic challenge for all fitness levels in aid of Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
The event features a 15km scenic bike trail, 6km run, and a fun, all-ages obstacle course. There is also a custom race just for kids that feature a 3km bike ride, 2km run, and an obstacle course.
Race in an event that helps support Canuck Place and its services for sick kids and their parents like dynamic father-daughter duo Paul and Jayda Thandi.
Jayda was diagnosed with CHARGE syndrome at birth, a congenital condition that affects many areas of the body.
The Canuck Place Adventure Race is one of their favourite activities, as it has an adaptive course for children like Jayda.
Registration is now open for the following slots:
- August 1 to 31, registration – $75 per person
- September 1 to 10, registration – $100 per person
And sure to take advantage of a special contest taking place, as those who sign up before midnight on August 31 will be entered to win a Canuck Place branded lululemon jacket.
Every race contribution goes a long way to support kids and their families at Canuck Place. You can sign up at canuckplaceadventurerace.ca.
