Vancouver Craft Beer Week is back for 2018, and with the celebration of all things beer (and music, food, and art) comes some seriously awesome shindigs.

Vancouver Craft Beer Week Kickoff
What better way to kick off this 10-day celebration than with a giant beer-fueled party? Head to the Maritime Labour Centre on May 25 to take part in an unorthodox opening night celebration featuring a variety of canned beer including the official VCBW 2018 Collaboration Beer, live music from Alex Maher and Hebegebe, and the Feats of Strength (which can include everything from beer balancing to thumbs wars to find a victor of the tongue-in-cheek contest).

Port Moody’s Brewers Row Brewmaster’s Dinner
The best of Port Moody Brewing is coming to Vancouver, Craft Beer Market to be exact. This Brewmaster’s Dinner is going down on May 29, and it will feature brews from Port Moody’s Brewers Row with Moody Ales, Twin Sails Brewing, Parkside Brewery, and Yellow Dog Brewing along with a four-course dinner.

Gastown Pub Walk
Get a taste of some of the best pubs in Vancouver’s historic Gastown during this pub walk brought to you by Vancouver Brewery Tours. The tour includes three pubs in three hours and includes the iconic Alibi Room, considered by many to be the city’s best craft beer pub.

East Van Comes To The West End
All of much-loved West End destination Timber’s taps will be pouring East Van craft breweries beer on May 29. All sleeves are $5 and there are no tickets and no resos necessary. Expect brews from East Van Brewing Co.’s Nordic Saison, Doan’s Brewing collab fruit beer with Odd Society, Strathcona’s Blackberry Berliner Weisse, Callister Brewing, Bomber Brewing, Powell Street, Off the Rail, Andina, and Strange Fellows.

Vancouver Craft Beer Week Festival 2018
Beer and cider lovers are invited to come to the PNE Fairgrounds on June 2 and 3 for the 9th annual year of good times, filled with music, food, art, and of course, tons of craft beer. For 2018 festival-goers can expect 100+ craft breweries and cideries (pouring 300+ beverages), live music, buskers, and more food trucks and washrooms. This festival caps off the 10-day citywide celebration which runs from May 25 to June 3.
