But finding an entire bar packed with Canadians in Italy? That hits different.
The Blues Canal Sports Bar in Milan has made headlines around Canada after it became the unofficial landing spot for Canadians visiting the city.
āThe pubās been great. Full of Canadians all hours of the day since opening until closing,ā co-owner Frank told Daily Hive last week.
āI think you guys want a spot like that. We just open our door, thatās it.ā
Well, the watch parties at Blues Canal Sports Bar have entered another stratosphere.
The spot has become so popular that watch parties at the club are spilling out onto the streets.

The bar was especially packed during Canada’s thrilling 3-2 win over Finland in the men’s ice hockey semi-finals.

Honestly, there were so many Canadians engulfing the pub, it appeared as though visitors from our country overtook an entire block in Milan.

Throughout the Olympics, the brother and sister-owned bar has happily obliged as Canadians pack the place.
There were visitors from Canada who helped decorate the bar with maple leaves galore. The owners also happily donned Canadian attire.
Not only that, but they cued up the Canadian national anthem to celebrate big moments.

The bar has caught the attention of prolific Canadians at the Olympics. Retired figure skater and current coach, Scott Moir, visited the bar earlier in the games. So too did bronze medal winners Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier.
Blues Canal Milano even posted a photo with Kevin Bieksa on Saturday.
