Fully funded Vancouver-based Kickstarter nOcean is aiming to make reusable straws that double as fashionable bracelets.
Organizers describe the product (which aims to be in customer’s hands by Winter 2019) as a cross between a reusable straw and a Livestrong bracelet, and it’s already achieved over 150% of its financial goal.

nOcean is not the only environmentally conscious company based in the West Coast creating reusable straws, but its unique bracelet method solves a convenience problem by always having it on your person.
With the plastic straw ban coming into effect next year, long-term solutions are a must-have, and nOcean has created a straw that is extra long so it can be adjusted to fit all wrist sizes.
The straw is made out of recycled silicone and surgical steel, so the non-disposable straw is helping the world’s pollution problem in more ways that one.
Each nOcean straw will also come with a cleaning spigot, and people can also opt for a protective outer case to keep things super sanitary.
The Kickstarter’s page also vows to donate 50% of profits to go towards cleaning up the ocean.
