From Squamish with love, digital love

What do Squamish, talking cat videos and jam have in common? They all play a role in inspiring the sold out Canadian Internet Marketing Conference held at Quest University this weekend.

It was after Christian Thomson and Darian Kovacs, founders of two Google Partner agencies in Metro Vancouver, decided to pull together a two day conference to talk about all things internet, digital marketing with some of the biggest names in the tech industry today.

“Christian and I used to meet and talk shop about the internet amidst the busy schedules of running our separate digital marketing agencies,” said Darian Kovacs, Founder and Principal of Jelly Marketing. “It was the best way for us to stay educated about the latest methods, news, solutions and media channels so that we could elevate our clients’ and keep them ahead of the competition. Then we realized, we can’t be the only ones who want this too.”

And so, the Canadian Internet Marketing Conference was born. Kovacs and Thomson created the conference to become a community where the latest ideas, case studies and solutions could be freely shared among industry professionals and business executives.

Even in its inaugural year, The Canadian Internet Marketing Conference is fast becoming known as THE digital marketing conference to attend this year with over 25 speakers from tech and marketing companies, including Google Canada, HootSuite, Strategy Magazine, Rethink, Indiegogo, Canada Wide Media, Wishpond, Chimp, 1-800-GOT-JUNK and many more.

CIMC will be the perfect event for small to medium business owners to come, learn and be inspired from the industry professionals on how to best boost their return on investment. They will leave with tools, case studies and methods to help direct their marketing into 2016.

Tickets are sold out, but you can visit digitalbuzz.ca and join the waitlist.
