Canadian Internet Marketing Conference speakers revealed (CONTEST)

The Canadian Internet Marketing Conference is back this spring for a two-day event, and we’re sending one reader to it for free.

The fresh-faced industry meeting has only been around for one year but has attracted speakers from some of the world’s most well-known brands for their 2016 event on April 14 and 15 in Squamish. Marketing heads from Starbucks, Google, TELUS, Warner Music, Herschel, and several other big international and local brands will be speaking throughout the jam-packed weekend.

Every digital marketer in Vancouver will be itching to register for CIMC and be one of the 1,100 people who will gain insight into some of the most innovative and inspiring trends online. There’s no idea too big or too profound for the expert marketers who will be speaking over the two-day event.

The 2016 speakers include:

Fab Dolan – Head Of Marketing at Google Canada

At work and in his talks, Fab Dolan draws on his experiences as a (reformed) traditional brand marketer on iconic brands like Cheerios and Green Giant, as well as those of the cutting edge digital agencies, startups, and engineers he meets regularly. He’ll explore digital marketing, branding, agile marketing, ad technology, tech and computing, business strategy, economics, and more.

Scott Ahmed – Associate Brand Manager at Starbucks Canada

Scott Ahmed is a customer-focused brand marketer with experience driving growth through forward-thinking solutions for brands at Disney, Hasbro, and Starbucks.

Gabe Mederos – Senior Social Media Manager at TELUS

With over 15 years of experience in corporate, not-for-profit, and government, Gabe Mederos has held senior communications roles with organizations like Purolator, Nestlé Purina PEtCare, and the Region of Peel. He currently leads TELUS’ strategic social media initiatives, including TELUS Days of Giving, WE Day, and platforms like the TELUS Blog.

Scott Johnson – Western Region Manager at Warner Music Canada

Scott Johnson manages Warner Music Canada’s regional business, including sales, marketing, promotions, and business development, along with managing their national business with Amazon in Canada. He’s also the President of Music BC and sits on many boards like the Western Canadian Music Awards/Breakout West Festival and The Peak Performance Project.

Janelle Saccucci – Director of Marketing and Communications at Blenz Coffee

The Director of Marketing and Communications at Blenz Coffee, Janelle Saccucci is passionate about creative marketing and public relations, and she’s always drinking coffee.

Christian Thomson – Founder of Marwick Internet Marketing

One of Canada’s most sought after digital marketing experts, as well as the co-founder of the CIMC, Christian Thomson is well known for helping business owners navigate and dominate the digital landscape.

Oli Gardner – Co-founder of Unbounce

As the co-founder of Unbounce, Oli Gardner has seen more landing pages than anyone on the planet. He’s on a mission to help marketers combine data and design to create high-converting and delightful marketing experiences.

Andrea Stairs – Managing Director at eBay Canada

Leading the Canadian strategy and operations of one of the world’s largest online marketplaces, Andrea Stairs is responsible for cultivating eBay’s community of Canadian users. Greg Plata – Team Lead, Sponsorship & Experiential Marketing

Jennifer Powell – Principal of BlissDom Canada, Hart & Galla, and Three Sixty Access

An award-winning social marketing strategist and event producer, Jennifer Powell produces BlissDom canada, the premiere social media conference for influencers in Canada. She also manages Three Sixty Access, an influencer and social strategy agency, 360Bliss, a social media resource and education hub, and more.

Justin Young – Creative Director and Co-Founder at Village&Co.

Justin Young has spent a majority of his 20 years experience rooted in digital. Mikey Scott – Global Marketing Director at Herschel Supply Co.

Corey Vidal – Creative Director at ApprenticeA Productions and Buffer Festival

Corey Vidal is a Canadian entrepreneur, director, producer, and full-time YouTuber based in Toronto. He has been uploading YouTube videos since 2006 and has generated over 100 million views on the site.
