Canadian Forces Snowbirds are flying over BC Saturday afternoon
The Canadian Forces Snowbirds are flying over British Columbia Saturday afternoon as part of Operation Inspiration to lift Canadians’ spirits during the COVID-19 pandemic.
People can’t attend air shows this summer due to coronavirus restrictions, so the Snowbirds are bringing the spectacle to Canadians. They’re in the middle of a cross-country tour that started in Halifax earlier this month and they’re headed progressively west.
The acrobatic pilots started their flyovers this morning in Edmonton and landed in Rocky Mountain House, AB. Next, they’ll take off at 1:30 pm and head to Kamloops in the BC Interior.

The Snowbirds encourage people to watch the show from home and not to travel to see the flyovers.
