The iconic Canadian Club brand is experiencing a renaissance, fueled in part by the popularity of historical dramas such as HBO’s Boardwalk Empire and AMC’s Mad Men. Canadian Club played an integral role in each of these eras, as one of the most exported brands to the United States during the prohibition era and the drink of choice of many of Madison Avenue’s advertising executives such as Don Draper.
In 2012, Canadian Club has amplified this renewed passion for Canadian whisky, forging a partnership with Mad Men and innovating with new product lines to adapt to people’s evolving lifestyles and sophisticated palates.
The innovations include Canadian Club Dock No. 57, a flavoured whisky line inspired by the historic Prohibition era shipping dock where Canadian Club’s export manager Bill “The Real” McCoy shipped the Canadian Club whisky that quenched the thirst of Americans during the dry years. Dock No. 57 comes in two flavours — Spiced and Blackberry Infuse Spice — with the classic smooth character of Canadian Club.
