Canada’s most widely used bank bill will get a fresh new look as the new polymer $20 bills go into circulation tomorrow.
The plastic bill pays tribute to the contributions and sacrifices of Canadian military by featuring the Canadian National Vimy Memorial on the bank of the note.
The new polymer $100 and $50 bills are already in circulation and new plastic $5 and $10 bills will be introduced by the end of 2013.
The polymer notes are more secure (until counterfeiters find a way around the security) and durable.
