Have $40 million to burn? Why not purchase Canada’s most expensive residential listing. We’ve featured some high end listings before as we took you on an inside tour of the $34 million West Vancouver home (at the time most expensive in Canada) that came with its very own boat garage. We also give an inside look at Canada’s most expensive condo, the then listed $28 million penthouse at Fairmont Pacific Rim, but this West Bay listing tops them all.
You would think that at a $37.9 million price tag you’ll get a ready to move in West Vancouver Mansion, however that is not the case. This is a tear-down mansion.

The existing home on the property was built in 1964 and hasn’t been updated since. As you can see by the interior photos below, it’s a home that only Tony Montana would want to live in now.

This amazing opportunity rarely becomes available for you to own Seaside Mansion on the Pointe. Featuring Spectacular 180 degree breathtaking views of the city, harbour, Point Grey and out along the mighty Georgia Strait to Vancouver Island. Enjoy kayaking, fishing, windsurfing, boating, water-skiing & all day ocean breezes from your doorstep. This spectacular property has the potential to be subdivided into 3 waterfront properties with brand new 8,000 square foot mansions with triple car garages, infinity pools and up to 32 foot boat garages.

The property itself is worth $30 million, and $7.9 million would go toward building the new house, or houses.

The property has been on the market for a couple years and was recently was put back up for sale.
