A stalled Canada Line train could cause you some problems during the busy Vancouver rush hour period.
Just after 2 p.m., TransLink shared that there was a stalled train near the Olympic Village area.
Over two hours later, the problems persist.
At around 3:57 p.m., TransLink posted on X that the issue “should be cleared” in the next 15 minutes or so.
At 4:31 p.m., the stall had yet to be cleared.
TransLink has been in constant communication with frustrated commuters on X during the delay.
Sorry about the frustration. It is a fluid situation with lots of moving parts. There is no ETA for when this is resolved but techs continue to work on the issue ^sp

In response to the stalled train, TransLink has been operating a shuttle train between Olympic Village Station and Waterfront Station.
“Service is still operating at Aberdeen in both directions but running delayed due to this issue at Olympic Village Station,” TransLink said in another X post.
The issue made its way to the Vancouver subreddit as well, with many chiming in with their experiences.
Someone who reported being at Olympic Village Station at around 4:30 p.m. said that it had been like that for an hour and that there was a lineup up the stairs.
The latest update from TransLink as of this publication was at 4:33 p.m., with TransLink saying crews are continuing to work on the issue. Expo and Millennium Line trains are not affected.
A couple of weeks ago, the Canada Line faced a major service disruption that lasted for more than 14 hours after an issue with a critical train-control cable.
