The FIFA World Cup is coming, and so are the parties.

“Canada House by Coca-Cola” will be a fan hub in downtown Vancouver, taking over the Shark Club at 180 W. Georgia St. during the tournament. Steps from where seven World Cup matches are happening at BC Place, the Canada House takeover is expected to be complete before the tournament kicks off in June.

“The venue was selected to undergo a full Coca-Cola transformation beginning in May, complete with bold Canada-themed decor and immersive fan experiences designed to bring the tournament atmosphere to life in the heart of downtown Vancouver,” Shark Club said in a statement shared with Daily Hive.

Founded in 1993 and equipped with 72 televisions, Shark Club is perhaps Vancouver’s most famous sports bar. It’ll look different than ever before during the tournament, with both the interior and exterior being redecorated. Staff will wear new uniforms, and they’re even launching a poutine burger for the months of June and July.

“This summer, Shark Club is going all-in,” said Shark Club Vancouver general manager Murray Saunders. “Canada House by Coca-Cola will be the home base for fans who want to experience every match with an unmatched atmosphere, exciting activations, and a community that knows how to cheer.”

The match day experience at Canada House will include activations and prizes, special for the World Cup. In addition to partnering with Coca-Cola, additional programming and prizing will be provided through a partnership with Smirnoff and Michelob Ultra.
