How would you like a Tim Hortons at your neighbour’s house?
A home in the Calgary suburb of Oakridge was set up overnight with a pop-up Tim Hortons location that’s fully equipped to serve up Double Doubles and doughnuts.
The location stunt was done “as part of the company’s bid to draw attention to the more than 2,000 positions it is trying to fill,” according to CTV News.
“Yesterday it was a house, today it is a Tim Hortons, an operating restaurant,” Tim Hortons Director of Marketing in Western Canada Doug Gunn told CTV News.
Residents of the Calgary neighbourhood were quite happy to see the change, and score a “Thanks for Being Our Neighbour” doughnut.
As is the nature of pop-ups, this one has a shelf-life, and will be closed by lunchtime today.
