The first Caffeine Crawl event in Canada will be a weekend filled with events and will naturally take place in our caffeine mad city of Vancouver. The crawl will kick off with a Barista Nation event on Friday, June 22nd and include 6 shops. The actual crawl begins at 10am on Saturday, June 23rd.
Precrawl Party
That same evening a PreCrawl Party from 5 – 7:30pm is planned alongside Barista Nation at the Salt Spring Coffee roasting facility (also the location for Barista Nation). Everyone is invited to join the Party, whether industry, Caffeine Crawl ticket holder, or just a fan of coffee. Activities will include a raffle of prizes, local gift certificates to the best spots in Vancouver, and a latte art contest.
The CRAWL:
The list of participating shops for Canada’s first ever Caffeine Crawl is below. There’s probably not a city more beautiful to spend a day visiting artisanal coffee and chocolate shops with fellow caffeine lovers. This will be the 5th Crawl in North America, which started last fall in Kansas City, MO.
Ticket Info:
Tickets can be purchased at Momento Coffee House or ONLINE HERE. Since it is close to the event time, tickets will be available when you pick up your goodie bags.
Tickets are available for $25, and includes a goodie bag (valued at least $20), 1 free raffle ticket, program, event souvenir, pass for a drink or chocolate sample at each participating shop, and brief presentation from each shop.
Here’s additional information that will come in handy:
– Tickets will be available with your goodie bags, unless you pick them up at Momento Coffee House.
– Ticket holders can pick up their Caffeine Crawl bags on Friday from 9a to 8p during the Barista Nation and PreCrawl activities, or at the Salt Spring coffee shop (4295 Main Street) from 10am to noon the day of the Caffeine Crawl.
– Ticket holders can visit each participating shop at their leisure during the scheduled time frame for each shop. The presentations from each shop will start every twenty minutes during that shop’s scheduled timeframe.
