Café Medina to host series of wine pop-ups from February 26 to 29

Café Medina might be known far and wide for its drool-worthy Liege-style waffles, but the popular brunch spot is switching things up later this month.

The Richards Street spot will be hosting a series of “Medina After Dark” events for four nights only from February 26 to 29.

A part of the 2020 Vancouver International Wine Festival (VIWF), this wine pop-up will be hosted by local wine aficionado Jenna Briscoe.

Folks can head into Medina from 5 pm to midnight and enjoy Briscoe’s specially designed wine list with by-the-glass and bottle offerings along with a selection of share plates up for order like Lamb Sirloin Kebab with Mint Yoghurt and Smoked Tuna Brandade, to name a few.

Each evening will feature different French selections and guest sommeliers — you don’t want to miss this!
