Cafe Crepe on Granville

Dec 19 2017, 11:40 am

After suffering through the Nike 10 k human race and after party the Urban Dweller headed back to the comfort of his Yaletown digs. The next morning err…afternoon I awoke from my slumber hungry. I’ve always heard people rave about the Cafe Crepe Express so I decided today would be the day I’d check it out.

I regret spending my 8 bucks on the chicken, egg, swiss cheese and mayo crepe. Although the service was great, and quite quick might i add, the environment itself was rather blah. There was barely any room to sit, or let alone stand, and you could barely read off of the clear glass menu which was located outside the restaurant. Perhaps I should have tried another crepe or perhaps I should have went to McDonald’s instead. There are a tonne of other places in Vancouver where you can dine at a quick service restaurant, Steamrollers comes to mind, or the plethora of wrap places around town.

They have numerous locations around town, the most notable ones on Robson and the other on Granville Street close to Futureshop. My advice would be to completely skip this place and go on over to another place to extinguish your hunger. Oh and they also serve panini’s there, so if nothing else is open and you’re really hungry maybe try one of those instead.
