Cactus Club, the chain hated by many, has made many good business moves the past few years. First they brought on board Rob Feenie, then they open up a 2-story flagship restaurant in the central business district on Burrard Street. That location routinely sees lineups out the door during lunch. They weren’t done yet.
Next, as we first reported, Cactus Club is about to open up at the new Vancouver Convention Centre near the Olympic torch. It will be another huge establishment as it will seat 500 and another 200 seats on the patio.
It’s expected to open up this summer just in time for the tourist and conventioneer crowd. Cactus Club will be busy this year as they are also opening up at English Bay this summer.
