Now Open: C Prime Modern Italian Steak + Wine

C Prime marks a rebirth of the dining experience at Century Plaza Hotel and Spa, and offers modern Italian fare in a redesigned space.

The restaurant is aimed at satisfying hotel guests and destination diners both, and has focused their food and decor on having an upscale steakhouse vibe. Gracefully curved and deep banquettes line walls, and a multi-level dining room covering an impressive stretch of square footage gives C Prime the opportunity to host all kinds of functions, from company parties to their daily hotel breakfast service.

An open kitchen faces a chef’s table illuminated by an opulent pair of chandeliers. Also in full view of guests is the pasta and pizza room, where dough is tossed and topped, and pasta is made fresh daily.

In the true steakhouse style, C Prime’s prime cuts of beef are served a la carte, and at dinner guests can opt to go bone in or out, and to make it a surf and turf with lobster or shrimp add-ons. Dinner service also includes a full range of share plates, pizzas, pastas, and salads, as well as a selection of seafood and “modern classics,” including a pork belly dish, a duck breast, Cioppino, Eggplant Parmesan, and the C Prime Burger.

For lunch, the restaurant has a scaled-down selection of pizzas, pastas, and mains, including a 7 oz Flat Iron Steak, the aforementioned burger, a Lobster Club, and even a frittata.

Wines by the glass include pours from B.C., California, and Italy, among others. Belly up to their 30-seat bar for a house-designed or classic cocktail offering.
