Burst main on Main Street sends water shooting everywhere

Everyone, grab a bucket!

A broken water main shooting tonnes of water high into the air sounds like an ironic joke in this ongoing drought, but unfortunately things break, and a water main near the Main Street SkyTrain Station is providing a massive sprinkling to the area.

Around 9:30 a.m. Friday morning, users on social media began reporting a burst main at a construction site near the Main Street SkyTrain Station.

The water appears to shooting quite high into the air. It’s only a matter of time until people start running over with buckets hoping to collect some of that precious water during these serious water restrictions.
