Burnaby RCMP 'concerned' for wellbeing of missing 24-year-old man

Burnaby RCMP is asking the public’s help in locating a 24-year-old missing man.

Guofeng ‘Jason’ Jin was last seen in the vicinity of the 4500-block of Hazel St (North of Metrotown) at 1:15 PM on July 4, 2018.

Guofeng is described as a 24-year-old Asian male, 165 cm (5’4″) tall, 57 kg (126 lbs), with brown eyes and short black hair. He was last seen wearing black-framed prescription glasses and possibly a dark green Tumi backpack.

“Guofeng’s father is beside himself with grief and just wants to see his son home,” said. Burnaby RCMP in a release.

Police say they are concerned for Guofeng’s well being and urge anyone who may have seen Guofeng or know of his whereabouts to call the Burnaby RCMP at 604-646-9999. If you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or text “BCTIP” to 274637 with information.
