The Integrated Homicide Investigation team says they were deployed yesterday evening after a body was discovered at a business in Burnaby.

The female body was found in the 4500 block of North Road, IHIT tweeted out at around 5 pm Wednesday evening.
Burnaby homicide appears to be targeted. No arrests. As investigation is early, more updates to be provided as info becomes available.

They say the homicide appears to be targeted, but no arrests have been made just yet. The investigation is still in the early stages and they say they’ll provide more updates as they become available.
