The lights of Christmas are burning bigger and brighter than ever at a home in Burnaby this year, in support of the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Every year, the DuPlessis family’s home, located at 8222 Burnlake Drive, puts together a stunning display of holiday lights.
“For the month of November, we have been working hard to build, assemble, and create a display that will surely make you smile and brighten your day,” Joel DuPlessis tells Daily Hive in an email. “The seasonal spectacle is a must-see and is just too much to describe.”
The home is illuminated with lights, snowpeople, trees, and animals throughout the lawn. Popular characters such as Santa, Olaf from Disney’s Frozen, the Grinch, and the Yeti also make an appearance.
Joel DuPlessis also adds that the display is synchronized to music, with a 12-minute show that can be safely enjoyed in vehicles or from the curb. The show will run daily from 4:30 pm to 12 am until January 10, 2021, and passersby can listen to the show by tuning into 92.3 FM.
