Burnaby Neighbourhood Series: Across the Pacific: Chinese Canadian Stories in Burnaby

What: Burnaby Village Museum co-curator Denise Fong will share stories and historical photographs about Burnaby’s Chinese Canadians and their past and present connections to Guangdong, China villages. Then the Hong family from Marine Drive’s Hop On Farm will talk about their multi-generational ties to Burnaby and farming in the Big Bend neighbourhood. Presented by Burnaby Village Museum and Burnaby Public Library.

Pacific Assistance Dogs – Graduation 2019

Japanese Book Sale and Halloween Fun

What: Browse and shop through thousands of Japanese and English books, CDs and DVD, and manga. There will also be food fair, trick or treating, and Halloween-themed Tea Ceremony conducted by Urasenke Tankokai Vancouver Association members on the Saturday.
