Emirates already employs nearly 200 Canadian cabin crew members and more than 120 Canadian pilots.
With plans to hire more than 17,300 professionals globally this year across 350 roles, the company is in full expansion mode.
The hiring event is part of a massive global recruitment drive that will see the Emirates Group, which includes Emirates Airlines and dnata, a leading global air and travel services provider, onboard more than 17,300 professionals across 350 roles this financial year.
That’s roughly the size of a mid-size Canadian town or the seating capacity of 58 Airbus A350 aircraft.
While the Burnaby hiring event focuses on cabin crew, the wider talent drive spans every part of the business, from pilots and engineers to IT, sales, customer service, catering, and ground handling.
dnata alone is hiring over 4,000 specialists worldwide.
