Burnaby driver fined $368 for playing Pokemon Go while driving

Yes, apparently people still play Pokemon Go.

And for one motorist in Burnaby, the struggle to separate the fantasy of the game with the reality of driving down the street meant a $368 ticket for distracted driving.

Yup, searching for Pokemon Go while driving.

The driver was hit with a fine and Burnaby RCMP tweeted about the incident:

So if you were thinking about re-hashing this tired trend from June 2016, it might be a good idea to wait until you’re far away from the prying public eye – or police road checks.

Just sayin’.
