The lights of Christmas are burning bigger and brighter than ever at a home in Burnaby this year in support of BC Childrens Hospital.

The Christmas lights around the DuPlessis family’s home at 8222 Burnlake Drive include two drumming soldiers, a giant flamingo, and Rudolph the red nosed reindeer.

Snoopy also makes an appearance riding in a sleigh, and a 14-foot Santa can be seen peeking over the roof, surrounded by snowmen, and polar bears.

The Christmas light show will be running from from 4:30 pm to 11:30 pm every day until January 8.

“You will have to see to believe,” Joel DuPlessis said in an email. “We hope everyone has the opportunity to enjoy this years display with us.”

DuPlessis is inviting the general public to visit, take photos with family and friends, join in the Christmas spirit and make a donation to BC Childrens Hospital.

To get the DuPlessis Christmas lights, the closest intersection is Lougheed Hwy and Brighton Ave. Head south on Brighton Ave, make the first right on Government Rd, then the first left on Burnlake Drive. It’s just around the curve to the lights.
