Buddharave New Years Eve 2013

The ‘Buddharave’ is the latest initiative by Yes Plus, a global youth movement committed to creating a society of young empowered leaders. Buddharave, held on December 31st at the Yaletown Roundhouse Galleria starting at 9pm, will be an exhilarating substance-free New Year’s Eve celebration promising a 100 percent natural high with heart-pumping electro fusion music by DJ A-Slam and performances by Will Blunderfield. With a locally sponsored ‘Buddha Bar’ serving vegetarian delights and non-alcoholic designer cocktails by New World Natural Foods, this party will be one of a kind.

The highlight of the event will be 600 party-goers partaking in a countdown meditation into 2013 to go within and experience the perfect union of celebration and silence. “Buddharave will cater to the gap within the local Vancouver party scene of clubbing and waking up next morning with a hangover or going away for a retreat to be uplifted for the new year,” said Nayna Trehan, a regional volunteer coordinator with Yes Plus. “With Buddharave, let us enter the new year with an enliven spirit and enlightened mind.”

Not only that, but it will be a night for everyone to party for a cause. All proceeds from the event will go to Youth Empowerment Workshops for local youth and ‘Care for Children,’ a global initiative to provide holistic education to children in underprivileged rural communities.

Buddharave is being brought to life with the support of businesses from the local wellness community including Happy Water, New World Natural Foods, Karma Teachers, Kirtan Vancouver and Drishti Point Radio.

Tickets are $65 and available now at www.Buddharave.com.
