Eek. I’m more than HAPPY to contribute a little fashion know how to the already informative BuzBoldz and will be offering tips, tricks, trends and of course insight into what your FAVORITE celebs are wearing. Let’s get to it you fashionistas…

Less than 2 months and counting till the Holiday season and work parties, BFF bashes and charity galas will be commencing before you can say, “hurry up and pass me the Eggnog.”It’s always difficult to find the PERFECT dress for that special event. You don’t want to look too trendy, too stiff or too flashy AND you most definitely do NOT want to be the focus of everyone’s attention for all the WRONG reasons (for example: unsightly nip slip or VPL.)

Therefore I APPOINT the “one shouldered dress” as the prime example of Holiday glam. It’s a much classier version of the strapless LBD and in cases where you’d like to cover up and show off some skin at the same time, the one shouldered dress is the perfect fit.

We all know that a woman’s best features include the legs and cleavage, but another sensual yet subdued area are the shoulders and this style of dress supplies sex appeal BUT in an understated manner.

Just because we’re creeping into the Holiday season doesn’t mean you should favor a certain texture over another. I know satin and sparkly styles are a holiday staple, but don’t rule out the rest. What usually sets someone APART from the rest is uniqueness, so think outside the box and ROCK it!

Our celebrity stylistas are proving that covering up can be sexier than letting it all go.

Rihanna is red hot in Gucci, Megan Fox takes it to the limits in Donna Karan and Leighton Meester is girly in a floral Marc Jacobs number.

AND this is only a small selection of the ENDLESS possibilities for this style of dress.

And for us normal folk who may not be able to cash in our rent cheques in order to score that highly coveted new Balenciaga dress, you can find styles similar to these at boutiques such as Bluebird, Betsey Johnson, Club Monaco & Zara, just to name a few.

In the case of accessorizing this already sizzling number, minimize it to earrings, bracelets, rings and hair bling. The neckline is a statement enough on its own so keep it clean and simple. As for shoes, well, that’s a WHOLE other article, but open toed booties and glam gladiator sandals and platform pumps are your BEST bet.

Be sure to put your BEST face (hopefully accented via Sephora) forward, bring your A game, and remember…
Don’t be Tardy to the Party!
