Brunch in Vancouver: West Restaurant's Sunday Brunch

West Restaurant is an elegant restaurant in South Granville that’s known as the “jewel in Vancouver’s culinary crown”. Along with offering spectacular fine dining meals, West Restaurant also provides top-of-the-line brunches on Sundays. From their morning cocktails to their eggs benedicts, West’s brunch menu offers classic breakfast items refined by their outstanding culinary mastery.

For a refreshing non-alcoholic starter, the Mango Coconut Cocktail ($6.5) is fantastic. It’s a fresh-pressed creation that provides perfect sweet sensations with every sip.

For those who like the start Sunday mornings with a kick, West offers the finest classic breakfast cocktails. The Bloody Caesar’s  ($8.5) on the left is a nice and slightly spicy delight that is composed of clamato and vodka. The Mimosa ($12.5) on the right is a much sweeter option that features fresh orange juice with sparkling wine and grand marnier.

Having fresh oysters for brunch is one of the luxuries of living on the West coast. West offers a variety of fresh oyster selections ($3 each) everyday, you may check with your server to see what is available.

The Eggs Benedict is undoubtedly a brunch favourite. At West, benedicts are taken to the next level as they offer the Crab Benedict as well. Featuring Dungeness crab and decadent Hollandaise sauce, this is a dish that’s hard not to love.

Another delicious brunch dish is the Smoked Ling Cod Potato Hash ($16.5). Served on a hot pan, this dish also contains slow cooked peppers, two poaches eggs, and some toast. With this dish you can find unique flavours as it is perfect for those who seek more distinctive tastes.

If you have room for dessert, the Chocolate Tasting ($15.5) here is highly recommended. This dessert comes in three parts: The Chocolate Cornmeal cake on the left, the Popcorn Ice Cream with Brownie in the middle, and the Chocolate Caramel Bread Pudding on the right. It is a fun and highly enjoyable treat that re-introduces you to chocolate unlike ever before. Also, where else can you try popcorn ice cream?
