The Book of Mormon headlines Broadway Across Canada's 2016/17 season

Broadway Across Canada has announced the lineup for their 2016/17 season in Vancouver, featuring the returning Book of Mormon, Newsies, Kinky Boots, and Cinderella.

The touring theatre company will return to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre beginning in July and continue with four productions by April 2017. The first of the set, Disney’s Newsies, will debut on July 5.

The 2015/16 season ends this year with Mamma Mia! at the Queen Elizabeth from March 29 to April 3. Tickets for that production went on sale on January 25.

Disney’s Newsies

July 5 to 10, 2016

They delivered the papers, until they made the headlines. Direct from Broadway comes Newsies, the smash-hit, crowd-pleasing new musical from Disney. April 11 to 16, 2017

Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella is the Tony Award winning Broadway musical from the creators of The Sound of Music and South Pacific that’s delighting audiences with its contemporary take on the classic tale.
