Jennifer Maloney Adab, former co-founder of Yulu Public Relations Inc., today announced she and her team have launched Brix Media Co., Canada’s first fully integrated PR and online influencer marketing agency focused on servicing tech, startup, business and lifestyle brands that benefit society.

“We’re the evolution of PR beyond the traditional,” said Maloney Adab, Founder and CEO of Brix Media Co. “The public relations industry has shifted. Brands now have to navigate through a very different media landscape to gain third party credibility and reach targeted audiences.”

In addition to traditional PR, Brix Media Co., offers online influencer marketing services such as brand and influencer content collaborations, native advertising, affiliate linking, social media amplification and blogger ambassador programs. The agency carefully curates communities of like-minded influencers in tech, startup and lifestyle industries to partner with its brands for greater public awareness.

“The brands and influencers we work with are socially innovative,” said Maloney Adab. “This means they are applying new ideas, concepts and strategies to solve problems and inefficiencies for the benefit of society. We don’t view social innovation as a niche, but rather a necessity. It’s what the public is demanding.”

Brix Media Co. will be managed by some of North America’s leading public relations talent. Nadia Gillies, former Senior Account Manager for Yulu Public Relations Inc., joins as Brix Media Co.’s Director of Lifestyle PR. Ryan Tessier, former Senior Account Manager for Yulu, joins as Director of Business Development and PR, and Caroline Carter, former in-house PR lead for Payfirma, will oversee Brix Media Co.’s tech division as Director of Tech PR.
