Bright Nights Stanley Park Christmas 2011 Vancouver

As we continue our look at Christmas events in Vancouver, we now set our sight on Bright Nights at Stanley Park. This year marks the 14th year of Bright Nights at Stanley Park. During the holiday season Stanley Park’s forest is adourned with 2 million lights transforming Vancouver’s crown jewel into a wonderful holiday winter wonderland.

You’ll hop aboard the Bright Nights train and make your way through the holiday decorated woods. You’ll passing by the usual suspects of Christmas lore.

Kids can also pay a visit to Santa at the North Pole and the parade of trees.

What: Bright Nights at Stanley Park
Cost: adults $9, kids (2 – 18), seniors (65+) $6. Get them here.
Dates: December 2, 2011 – January 2, 2012 (closed Christmas day).

Note: Admission to the Plaza is by donation to the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund. Tickets are required to ride the Bright Nights Train.

Train tickets are sold in half hour time slots.
Trains run Sunday to Thursday, 3:00pm – 10:00pm (the last train leaves at 10:00pm)
Trains run Friday & Saturdays, 3:00pm – 11:00pm (the last train leaves at 11:00pm)
Free Event Parking after 3:00pm
