Internationally acclaimed guitarist Bombino comes to Imperial in Vancouver Saturday, April 30 on an international tour with Canadian stops in Toronto, and Montreal.
Omara Moctar, known by his stage name “Bombino,” is an internationally acclaimed Tuareg guitarist from Agadez, Niger. Performing songs about the geopolitical realities of his homeland, Bombino has gained notoriety, and a degree of infamy, as a passionate and talented musician and activist.
His third and most recent album, Azel, will be released on April 1, 2016 on Partisan Records.
