Body found floating in Fraser River near Richmond marina

A body was discovered in the Fraser River in Richmond on Sunday morning.

RCMP are investigating the discovery, which was made at approximately 10:30 a.m. near Capstan Way and River Road. A number of marinas are located in the area as well as the two bridges – Sea Island Connector and the swing Moray Bridge – that link Vancouver International Airport’s Sea Island with Richmond’s Lulu Island.

Few details have been made available. A post-mortem examination will be conducted this week due to the condition of the body.
