Body found near Burnaby ravine deemed a homicide

Metro Vancouver’s Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has been deployed to Burnaby after a body was discovered in an area where homeless people are known to congregate.

The body was found on Sunday afternoon by a ravine near the west side of North Road and south of Highway 1.  The victim has been identified today as 56-year-old Kevin William Knuff and his death has been deemed by investigators as a homicide.

His murder is not related to any previous investigation.
