Arguably one of the biggest draws of living on the North Shore is the proximity to nature.
But then there are times when perhaps the wilderness — and its creatures — feel a little too close for comfort.
Julia Toren filmed a bobcat casually hanging out in a West Vancouver backyard, and posted the encounter to Facebook on Tuesday.
The caption “Baby Bobcat alert in Cypress Falls!” really sums up the whole scenario.
The video captures the cat hanging out near the windows at the rear of the home, before crossing and leaving the yard.
Bobcats (from the genus Lynx rufus) have a range from southern Canada all the way to Mexico.
