St. Louis Blues No.1 netminder Jaroslav Halak will honour Pavol Demitra, his former Slovakian teammate, by having a depiction of Demitra on the back of his new mask.
The image is a fitting tribute as Demitra raised those vary arms right here in Vancouver during the winter Olympics. In those two weeks he played some of his best hockey.
Halak isn’t the only one paying tribute as Wild goalie Josh Harding is also doing something similar.
